Tessa Hamilton, Ed.M., C.A.S.
Tessa Hamilton is a doctoral student in the School Psychology PhD program at Northeastern University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arizona and her master’s and post-master’ degrees in Childhood Counseling from Harvard University. Tessa is a licensed school adjustment counselor/school social worker in Massachusetts. She is also a member of the Healthy Kids Healthy Futures research team at Northeastern University, where she works to investigate psychological and motivational factors related to childhood obesity prevention. Tessa’s research and clinical work has highlighted the importance of fostering positive sibling relationships to promote social/emotional functioning within the home, at school, and across the lifespan.
