Madeline Manning, M.A.

Madeline Manning is a doctoral candidate in the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program at Northeastern University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Mediated Communication from Stonehill College (2015) and her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine (2017). Madeline is also currently working towards her certification in Early Intervention at Northeastern University. Along with assisting with the More Fun with Sisters and Brothers Program, Madeline is also a member of the Project DateSMART research team in Providence, RI, as well as Project Bridging the Gap in Boston, MA, where she works to investigate dating violence prevention interventions in youth in the juvenile justice system, as well as explore factors that promote resilience in urban youth. Madeline’s research and clinical work have demonstrated the significance of sibling bonds across the lifespan, and the need for programs such as MFWSB to assist in promoting healthy sibling communication and interactions from an early age.
